Milestones Grill + Bar in Kitchener

My friends and I really enjoyed our lunch. The fish tacos and fries were excellent. Service was speedy and waitress was very tentative. Milestones supports CAA members and we enjoyed a free appetizer to share.Although a little pricey for lunch, the food and service and ambiance are deserving of the cost.

A friend and I enjoyed an exceptional meal at milestones patio last night. If you want a place you can trust about cleanliness this is the one. Food was excellent, all staff were professional and pleasant and our server Spencer was awesome - very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. And best fish tacos I’ve had.

Great atmosphere! They did a great job of having everyone spaced out and keeping the patio and restautant sanitized and clean. Friendly and accomodating staff. Great food as always

I absolutely love eating here. The ambience is classy and inviting. Our server, Josh was extremely amiable and charming. Food serving sizes are big. Great dining experience. Will be back here soon!

Came here and got the surf and turf. The restaurant is in a good location the decor is pleasant. Staff is good. Definitely one of the more upscale restaurants from the recipe group.

Decent, not at all like it used to be. Was extremely disappointed to learn they weren't serving Prime Rib! I ordered the New York Strip and was quite disappointed with the price compared to the small portion... I was left hungry after spending 30 dollars on a small overcooked steak. The dessert options were very limited, we ended up going elsewhere for dessert.

I love the Date Night idea every We'd night. Went there last night. The only thing I am not excited about is that the menu hasn't changed for a year. I would think that they would tweak it a bit every other season at least. I like the fact that you can order a bottle of wine and bring the remainder home with their bottle corking option. I don't feel like I have to finish the bottle and then drive home under the influence.

Im still in the restaurant and I came to celebrate my academic awards night with my mom. We were told a server josh was incredible and thankfully we had him and i couldn't disagree. He is a very bright and positive person who actually gave me cake to celebrate too which made my night even better. I hope to be served by him again and cannot begin to describe how great he was!!!

Absolutely love it here! My friends and I often come for the Monday Girls Night deal- you get 4 Bellinis and 4 apps for $40. Be warned, you’ll end up ordering more Bellinis because they are so good.

The food was so good. Incredibly flavorful, especially compared to other restaurants of this type. A stand out.

The atmosphere is nice. The food was not great. I feel like they could step their game up with just a few thoughtful changes. What changes? Just try the food and think about it. My steak was ok at best. Spinach dip needs those pita breads not just chips. The chocolate torte is too rich, take it off the menu and add something someone could actually eat. Let’s go guys, you can do better

Lunch time-it was quiet and you could talk with friends. Had salmon and shrimp salaf. Very good.

Food quality and service were very good for this birthday dinner. All the meals from pasta to burger and bowl were prepared well.

I had a wonderful first impression with the staff (quality of customer service) and the quality of food. 4/5⭐ - quality of food (flavour, texture, presentation, creativity & detail)I absolutely loved the Butternut Squash Ravioli! It had so many different, and elegant components, which all worked very well together. The cheesecake was rich and smooth. The Cesar salad - this is where I felt I did not enjoy it as much as I have at other places. I think the Cesar salad needs more work. It would have benefited from more bacon and more creamy garlic sauce. Also, I found myself cutting of the stems of a type of leafy green vegetable frequently as it was hard to eat. I think the salad would have benefited if the stems were cut off previously. 5/5⭐ - customer service (polite, helpful, efficient and organized) Overall, I had a great experience! :)

Finally got to go back to Milestones Waterloo (patio version) in stage 2 of the covid virus openings. Had a nice supper with the family in the covered patio. The menu is limited which is understandable due to reduced capacity. Quality of food was very good, service was fast and friendly. The prices were reasonable. I was happy to see patrons and staff observed social distancing. Cleaning and sanitizing of the tables was done after each seating was finished. They used disposable menus and staff wore masks. Keep up the good work. Wishing you success as we wait for the next stages to evolve.

Menu isnt very big for lunch, service was pretty good. Only one error made for a party of 15.

By far my favourite place to sit down and enjoy a lovely meal ! Aaron has been my server many times and goes above and beyond everytime! My favourite server and restaurant!

Excellent food. All the dishes are thoughtfully made and designed! Staff and waitress there are super friendly. I love the choice of the serving ceramic dishes. Elegant Restaurant in Waterloo. Highly recommend it for dates and business dinners.

Great date night out!! It was busy so we waited a bit to get served but the service was excellent, the food came out in good time and was delicious. Not a speck left on either of our plates. In the winter it was a little chilly by the door. We run warm so it wasn't too bad but if you're already chilly ask for something further from the door. The cost was very reasonable thinking that more casual places have similar prices with the lack of atmosphere that you get from milestones. Excited to try their brunch menu soon.

Everytime we gave this place a chance throughout the years weve been disappointed. Can make better food at home for 10% of the cost. I had a table of 12 once which was a disaster, some were finished their food before others received theirs. I ordered a burger once that had no pickles, they told me they didnt have pickles in the building. Coconut rice bowl was flavorless with too much liquid. Pesto pasta that was full of oil. Mediterranean salad with chicken was overloaded with salt. I've been burned multiple times and lost hundreds of dollars, will never return to the franchise ever again.

Great place for get-together and special events, love the service! The only time that I was a little unsatisfied was I paid for extra Avocado in my fish taco, but I only got 1 slice in each tacos. But the foods tasted great, could be just a little mistake. Will definitely visit again, I’ve already been there soooo many times!

Used to be a better selection. Hoping when they re open , the menu is updated. We have frequently celebrated milestones at this location and the service has always been excellent! The new Reno’s have helped with more private dining.

We had a great experience here. It is probably one of the better places for a date. The food is good, but definitely not in the upper echelons and not for the price you pay.

Waitress was rude and didn't want to serve me because she didn't believe my age, I showed her two pieces of govt photo id. She walks away..Next thing I know the manager comes over and mentions there was a problem with the ID. I said no problem, here is my ID. After he looks over my health card and driver license he asks me what else i have in my wallet. I begin to show my social insurance card and contents of my wallet as requested then decide no....at this point I am fed up and decide all this hassle is not worth it since they already ruined my Saturday night out.As we leave my date apologizes (not sure why WE should apologize but being canadian and all...the kicker is the MANAGER replies that its 'His problem not mine" well i am here to tell you it is your problem. Your manners are very poor, whoever hired you should have a hard look at your performanceI will never return to this location...Not sure how this waitress got her smart serveFire them both

Had lunch there this Thurs. Food was very tasty. Took leftover sandwich home, but the fries were not put in the container! This is the first time this has ever happened.

I've been here a few times. Love the weekend brunch menu. Came here last for Father's Day. Everyone loved the food. We were a group of 8 and our food got ready in an appropriate time. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. For apprtizer we got the calamari and spinach dip, which were delicious. They brought us a kids menu to accomodate. I definitely recommend this branch. The food has always been good and the staff has been very accommodating even when you accidentally make a mistake in your order. And the interior design is very nice and welcoming. Good place for date nights as they have date night venue, and for family celebrations.

Peach bellinis, butternut squash ravioli and spinach dip. Need I say more? Have never had a bad experience here at milestones.

We almost always have the server Sam and she is amazing! Great vegetarian options in the starters section as well.

Been going here several times, recommended by a close friend! Excellent customer service, great food with large selection, I really love their martini also the beef bolognese which used to have in the menu, however since last year after they had their renovation i been back and the dishes was no longer available, the server suggested me tried the new one which kinda similar to the one that I loved it’s call beef ribs chipotle something fettuccine and I ended up like it! But 2 months ago i was there ordered my favourite dish like usual and the girl said it was no longer been made 😞😞😞😢😢😢! Would give 5 stars but how come all my favourite dishes started to disappear that made me feel so sadd!

Fantastic food with rich flavors and pleasing interiors. Customer Service from door to table to wrapping up was top notch. Very personable and knowledgeable staff. Customization to items are permitted and food is delicious. We had Red Thai curry and Butternut squash ravioli (pictures inside) and they were amazing. Definitely a must visit whenever in the Boardwalk.

Had a great experience on Valentines night . The girl who was serving our table needed to be more energetic but other than that compare of our past visits it was good . The flowers they placed on our table made our night . Thank you

We had the Ginger-glazed salmon, and Thai Basil Chicken & Shrimp noodles.They were good, but not earning of their high prices.The ingredients and overall freshness was present, but they lacked excellence in flavor. The portion of the salmon was good, but not enough of the accompanying rice, which was very tasty. The meal didn't fill me up.The salmon had a mildly off, fishy taste, not enough to ruin it, but noticeable, and my companion found her shrimp to be bland, and perhaps undercooked.It's a pleasant decor, and fine service, but the food did not justify the prices.I will not look to return.

Visited last Friday evening, sat on the patio and had a great experience! The service was fast and friendly. Drinks and food were amazing!

Located in the popular Boardwalk shopping area of Kitchener-Waterloo, Milestones is always a consistent bar for good food and service. Service was prompt and friendly and our waitress was always attentive throughout our meal. We ordered the 7oz. NY striploin (well-done) and the ginger glazed salmon. Food was decent but nothing stood out as exceptional. The steak was still pink on the inside and chewy, even though we asked for well-done. The salmon was tasty, but it only came on a bed of fried rice with no vegetables accompanying the meal. I also ordered a Muskoka wheat beer, but it was not poured properly and the foam head was non-existent and the beer was not topped up to cover the empty space, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Overall, I give Milestones a three star rating mainly for the atmosphere and service.

A Great Salmon DinnerAfter a Sunday afternoon of photography I went to Milestones Grill & Bar in Waterloo for my dinner. I had seen the menu online before leaving home and, with the help of the waitress I was able to get a grain-free Salmon dinner ordered for myself. It was absolutely delicious. There was a lot of it, and what I couldn't eat, I took home for another meal. The waitress was extremely helpful, and the kitchen staff assisted in giving me a meal that was absolutely great. It is my go-to restaurant, despite the price for a meal that is not going to make me sick.

Everytime we go here to eat the food is amazing and the service is spectacular.

Ok so disclaimer I was invited to Milestones for coffee and cake .. go figure! And it was reeeeally nice! I had a cappucino and white chocolate cheese cake. Both were spot on. Will be back for the rest of the menu soon ....

Service is great. Where they fall is removing good stuff from the menu...RIP The Cookie, popcorn shrimp and prime rib. No reason to comeback to this platter of bad decisions.

A little pricey but the food and cocktails was good! Would definitely return
